Stephanie Gotzman
Owner, Stephanie has been working for First Response for 18 years, certified to teach Basic Life Support class CPR, AED and First Aid. As a Southern Oregon native, Stephanie loves going into this community to help equip people to be confident in these life saving skills.
John Schulgen
John has been a firefighter paramedic for 17 years. John has practical skills in the EMS and clinical setting. John's passion for helping people during their time of need translates to an enthusiastic instructor taking the medical emergencies that he has seen to help other people know how to mitigate them.
Lisa has spent 29 years as a Firefighter/EMT and then Advanced EMT. She and Rick founded First Response in 1988 when she saw a need in the community for an instructor who was flexible to come to the customer and teach their employees at their facilities. She teaches all levels of training from hospital personnel to industry to private citizens.
Lisa Mendenhall
Rick spent 35 years as a Captain Paramedic / Firefighter. He took time away from the fire service in the middle of his career and spent 12 years in law enforcement. He started as a reserve officer while at the fire department and then was asked to be the police chief for the City of Shady Cove. During that time he was a SWAT Medic for Jackson County Sheriff's Dept.
